This week’s SmackDown started as it was announced that Jey Uso would be facing his younger brother Solo Sikoa on the main event of the show. The match was announced just before the show and the big news was broke by Bleacher Report which was also mentioned by Wade Barrett.
Match 1 – LA Knight defeated Sheamus

The first match of the night was booked for a little longer than 10 minutes and it was an excellent match to start things off for the night. The match started after an amazing promo from LA Knight where he addressed The other competitors in the upcoming WWE Battle Royal. The fans were thoroughly behind him just like every week.
About the match, as already said above, it was pretty good. Both performers were on top of their games. During the match, some of the other competitors from the Battle Royal joined in and they remained on the ringside like lumberjacks. LA Knight at the end managed to pin Sheamus with the BFT.
Bobby Lashley Brings New Faction With The Street Profits
A lot of things were happening backstage as one of them showed The Brawling Brutes and the OC were arguing pretty hard. Both sides were quite angry at each other. Adam Pearce joined in and announced a match between the two sides to settle things off. He told them to get into the ring to do their things.
Next up was a long promotional video package for the upcoming mega clash between Brock Lesnar and the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes. Good to see at least one feud from Monday Night RAW getting some recognition on SmackDown. Otherwise we get to see Bloodline storyline promotion only.
Match 2 – The Brawling Brutes vs. The OC went to a double disqualification
This match was just booked backstage and it was overall a pretty fun match. But the main purpose of the match remained something else. The match was going pretty well, no team in particular was dominating the match. It was a little weird to see two baby face side going against each other, but the main purpose made everything clear.
When the two sides were on the peak of their games, two men in suit attacked all four of them and started beating them down. These two men were none other than The Street Profits. They beat down both two sides and when they stood on the entrance stage, Bobby Lashley joined them and made things pretty clear. The new faction is now in the business.
