Next up on Smackdown was the reminder about the triple threat match for the WWE Women’s Championship and showed a promotional footage. Charlotte Flair was seen enjoying her time in destroyed and she addressed both of our opponents for tomorrow and explained why she is the favourite to win the match and the title.
Paul Heyman was seen standing inside the ring. He talked about the upcoming Tribal Combat between Roman Reigns and Jey Uso tomorrow at SummerSlam. A video package was also shown promoting the upcoming Tribal Combat where some of the biggest Samoan legends were seen talking. Paul Heyman explained why Jey Uso had no chance tomorrow against Roman Reigns.

Jey Uso came out to the arena and interrupted Paul Heyman. He said that there will be a Tribal Combat tomorrow and there would be no rules so he could use any weapon he fancied. Solo Sikoa came out in defense of Paul Heyman. Jey said he had no hard feelings against Solo since he’s his brother, and he super kicked him out of the ring.
Match 3 – Austin Theory defeated Cameron Grimes
Austin Theory Defeats Cameron Grimes In A Non Title Match
This match was booked for only 3 minutes and it was a pretty average match. Santos Escobar tried to invade the match at the beginning but he was blocked by the officials. Cameron Grimes tried to take the advantage of the situation but he would not survive Theory for more than three minutes. Theory pinned him with an A Town Down.
After the match, Santos Escobar attacked him and beat them down. Needless to say, the duo would face each other next week and the United States title would be on the line. It is pretty unfortunate that Cameron Grimes is turning out to be a jobber in the main roster when he was a big deal in the NXT.
Next up on WWE Smackdown was the Grayson Waller Effect with Grayson Waller being the host of it. Damage CTRL was the special guest of the Aussie Icon. Bayley and Iyo Sky joined the show as Waller asked Iyo if she has any plans of cashing in her contract tomorrow at SummerSlam during the triple threat Women’s championship match.
As Iyo was about to say something, Bayley interrupted her and said that they were not going to reveal their plans because they were not stupid. Suddenly, a laughing sound spread through the arena. It was Shotzi’s laugh. Bayley got really scared of this laugh as Waller repealed that he played a prank on her. Bayley threatened her not to play such pranks ever again.
