Backstage on Smackdown Sami Zayn went out to met his former friend Jey Uso and he tried to play mind games with him. He said that everything that he said is happening. Earlier he said that they would take their Tag Team titles away, and they did. He also say that the Bloodline would crumble and it was crumbling. He said that there was still a way out for him.

Before he could finish a loud noise was heard and Sami ran toward it. It was seen that his Tag Team partner Kevin Owens was attacked backstage but the one who attacked was nowhere to be seen. It was quite clear that the attacker was none other than Solo Sikoa.

Match 4 – Jey Uso defeated Sami Zayn

This was the main event of the night and it was not as good as it looks like. It was booked for less than five minutes and all they cared about here was telling the story rather than orchestrating a good match. It looked like that there would be no one in Jey’s corner tonight but Solo stood for his elder brother.

The match was mostly dominated by Sami Zayn. But at the end of the match, Solo got involved into the match as referee got distracted by Jey and Solo hit the Samoan Spike on Sami who was trying to get back on his feet on the apron. Jey then pinned Sami with a Superkick.

After the match, Solo Sikoa entered the ring and he attempted to attack Sami Zayn once again. As he was about to hit the Samoan Spike, Jey held his hand and stopped him. The fans in the arena loved it. When it finally looked like that Jey might stand up for the former friend, he betrayed him again.

He hit a Super Kick on Sami’s face. Solo went out of the ring to bring a steel chair and Jey kept on beating down Sami. Matt Riddle came out for the help and attacked Solo amd Jey. Just a quick reminder that it was Solo who took Riddle out of the action for months according to the storyline. Riddle eliminated both Jey and Solo out of the ring. Riddle stood strong along with Sami Zayn inside the ring as this week’s SmackDown went off air.

Overall it was a terrible week of Smackdown, especially when it was the SmackDown after WrestleMania. On Monday Night RAW there was at least one return, on SmackDown there was absolutely nothing. At least there was an announcement that could give a little excitement to the fans after such a dull episode of Monday Night RAW.

That is right, they are bringing back the WWE Draft. But it is still not clear how they are planning the Draft. When was looking like that WWE was getting rid of the brand extension, suddenly the news of the Draft arrives. We seriously hope that WWE introduces another World title, and this time they go for the hard brand split.

About the rest of the show, it was awful. Still it was better than that three hour torture of Monday Night RAW. At least the final segment was watchable. Dominik Mysterio continued being a heat magnet which is definitely a good part. We cannot remember the last time we so such an excellent heel.

The matches of this show was bad, there was no new storyline either. WrestleMania is over and they do not even care to start new feuds. Has already been announced that there will be no Roman Reigns at Backlash. We have no idea what they are going to do with the rest of the roster with this slow paced shows. We give this week’s SmackDown 1 out of 5.
