WWE SmackDown 09.06.2023 Results Part 1, Huge Bloodline Segment, Santos Escobar Vs. Mustafa Ali

Jey unleashed his anger on Solo for betraying Jimmy last week on SmackDown and said whatever he did was not right. Heyman said that it was not solo’s fault, neither anyone else’s fault, if someone had to be charged guilty it was Jimmy himself. The fans started booing Heyman pretty loud.

Heyman said that Jimmy pulled the trigger for himself and Jey. He did not ask Jey before doing what he did. Heyman tried to manipulate Jey against his own twin brother. At the end Heyman said that Jimmy is jealous of  Jey because The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns wanted to groom Jey as the next Tribal Chief.

Match 1 – Money in the Bank qualifying match – Santos Escobar defeated Mustafa Ali

The first match of the night was booked for six minutes and it was a pretty good match. LA Knight was on the commentary table during this match for some reason, maybe they are trying to present him as a legit threat for the upcoming ladder match. Escobar pinned Ali with a Phantom Driver.
