Backstage on Smackdown, Jey Uso was seen and he was confronted by Sami Zayn. Sami explained that he still loved and respected Jey and at the end of the day, whatever his decision might be, he just wanted him to understand the consequences. If he stood with Roman Reigns, there would be no more Usos.
Next up was a segment between the WWE Women’s Tag Team champions Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler and the NXT Women’s Tag Team champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn. In this segment, Rousey and Baszler challenged Fyre and Dawn in a title unification which the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions accepted.

The segment ended as the two teams for each other and the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions stood tall at the end. So more titles are getting unified which means more titles are getting cut. We have already covered this news last night, and it is coming real. This is not going to be a very good news for the NXT women’s roster.
Match 2 – Money in the Qualifying match – Bayley defeated Mia Yim
WWE And NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles Are Set To Get Unified
This match was booked for only two and a half minutes and this might have been the first victory for Bayley. She had been going through a terrible losing streak and finally it is over. She pinned Michin with the Rose Plant. Bayley was needed to be added into the ladder match, she could have brought some new dynamics to it.
AJ Styles was present in the commentary table during the match who was in favour of Michin of course. After the match, Scarlett came in front of Styles and spread some kind of dust into his face, was it chili powder? We are not sure. Karrion Kross grabbed AJ from behind and nailed him with The Cross Jacket.
Backstage Adam Pearce was seen along with Bianca Belair. Asuka would be given a new Championship tonight in the next segment, so Pearce requested Bianca not to get involved in this feud. Bianca said how could she not attack Asuka after whatever she went through. Pearce promised her a rematch for the title if she keeps herself away from this segment.
Backstage The OC was seen taking care of their leader AJ Styles who got attacked by Karrion Kross and Scarlett just a while ago. Michin promise that they would take care of Karrion Kross and of course Scarlett. Maybe she is a mixed tag team match for next week or later.
