This week’s SmackDown started as Sami Zayn came out to the arena in a wheelchair along with two medical personnel. Footage from last week was shown where Sami was forced by Brock Lesnar to cash in his Universal Heavyweight Championship opportunity add later got beaten down by Lesnar, which led Roman Reigns to beat him easily.
Sami Zayn claimed that it took two men to put him into this position, two of the most dominant man in WWE, and the two men who could not stand each other. Said that he was going to sue everyone who was involved on what happened last week.

Paul Heyman interrupted him by coming out to the arena. He completely ignored Sami Zayn and and started to talk about Brock Lesnar. Sami said that he was not finished talking. And since Roman Reigns was here tonight he could do anything to Heyman.
Brock Lesnar came out to the arena. He apologized to Sami and said whatever he did last week it was on purpose so that Roman’s victory would not count. He then told Sami to go with him on fishing or hunting.
As if was being taken out, Paul Heyman from behind provoked Brock to beat Sami down. Brock first took out the medical facilities and then beat down Sami. In this whole segment, Sami had been amazing in his promo.
Match 1 – Rick Boogs and Shinsuke Nakamura defeated The Los Lotharios
This must have been the end of the pointless feud of the year and the meaningless undefeated streak of the Lotharios is over as well. The team that remained unbeaten since coming to SmackDown lost in only one minute. Boogs single handedly beat down both of them and Nakamura pinned Humberto with the Kinshasa.
Match 2 – Drew McIntyre defeated Sheamus
This is a main event standard match even though we cannot count how many times did these two guys fight each other. It was not a very difficult victory for Drew. He pinned Sheamus with the Claymore.

Match 3 – Sonya Deville vs. Naomi could never officially take place
The match was about to get started. Sonya by the way was looking really attractive. Sonya introduced to the ring announcer of the match who was Natalya, and the bell keeper was Shayna Baszler. Before the match could start, Sonya asked both ladies to attack Naomi. As they were about to gang on Naomi, here came the debuting Xia Li. She helped Naomi to get out of the situation as Sonya and her gang escaped.
Match 4 – WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship Contenders match – Toni Storm defeated Charlotte Flair by DQ
Charlotte Flair beat down Toni Storm in this match really badly. It looked like she intentionally disqualified herself, as if she wanted Toni to be the no 1 contender for her title.
Match 5 – The New Day defeated WWE Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro and WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos to be the best tag team in WWE
We seriously did not understand the point of this match. What was the point to prove who was the best? Wouldn’t it had been better to work on the feud between New Day and the Usos? Kofi Kingston pinned Jey Uso to earn the victory for his side. The New Day celebrated as this week’s SmackDown went off air
Overall it was a very weak episode of Smackdown. Most of the matches made no sense. Once again no booking for the Intercontinental Championship at all. The only few That seems a little interesting is Naomi vs. Sonya Deville which they are failing to sell totally. Xia Li’s debut has been booked really well. This was the only good thing apart from Sami Zayn’s promo was good about this show. The main event was pointless as well. We give it 1.5 stars out of 5.
