This week’s SmackDown started as the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn came out to the arena. They talked about making history at WrestleMania 39 and also expressed their happiness on featuring on the first ever Tag Team Championship main event at WrestleMania.
They said that The Usos would definitely come out to ask for their Tag Team Championship rematch and they were pretty much ready for him. The Bloodline made interference, (without Roman Reigns, of course). The Usos said when they were bragging about only 2 weeks, they have already surpassed over 600 days.

Once again Sami Zayn tried to play mind games with them. Jimmy Uso said that he needed to stop saying the same things. The Bloodline was not in any difficult situation but it was more stronger than ever. He also said that the Usos would be the 9 times Tag Team Champions soon.
Jey Uso added that there would be no cracks in the Bloodline ever. Once again he loathed Sami for backstabbing the Bloodline and Jey’s family. Sami said that they could say whatever they want but deep down under they all know whatever Sami said was right. Sami also said that he was pretty sure that they were not here to talk only.
The Bloodline then attempted to attack the Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. As they surrounded the ring Matt Riddle came out to help them. The babyface side came out stronger. As Riddle was about to hit a Moonsault on Solo, The Usos dragged him outside and escaped.
Match 1 – Xavier Woods defeated LA Knight
The first match of the night was booked for around nine minutes and it was a good match. LA Knight seriously needed this victory. But once again WWE decided to award Xavier Woods with a victory here. It was not a clean win however. It does not look like WWE has any major plans for Knight anymore.
Backstage Imperium was seen discussing something in their own languages. Xavier Woods who just won a match against LA Knight interfered. Gunther said that it was pretty clear that he was looking for his attention. Woods said that he was holding the intercontinental championship for quite a long time and he wanted a shot at it.
Footage from December was shown where Solo Sikoa beat down Matt Riddle really bad which sidelined The Original Bro from action for four months. The former WWE United States champion is finally back to get his revenge on the youngest brother of the Usos. The duo are scheduled to face each other later to night.
