This week’s SmackDown started as Jey Uso was seen entering the arena. Footage from last week was shown where The Usos fought with Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns and by the end of the night, Jimmy Uso got hurt and had to rush to the hospital. Jey Uso later sought revenge on Roman Reigns.
The show continued as the former WWE Women’s champion Bianca Belair came out to the arena. Just a quick reminder, she is going to challenge Asuka for the WWE Women’s Championship later tonight. She said that she had to wait since Night of Champions to finally get her rematch, and tonight she would finally take her revenge and would take the WWE Women’s title away from Asuka.
WWE Smackdown 14.07.2023 Results Part 1, Charlotte Confronts Bianca, Big Tag Team Match
Charlotte Flair interrupted Bianca Belair. She entered the ring and said that she would hope that she would beat Asuka to win the WWE Women’s Championship. Charlotte botched this part on the mic which is pretty rare for her. She tried to cover it up but it sounded a little embarrassing.
She then said that she would love to challenge Bianca Belair for the WWE Women’s Championship once she wins it. Bianca liked the proposal and said if she gets to win the Championship tonight, she would love to face Charlotte Flair to she would defend her Championship at SummerSlam. They both shook hands in approval.

Match 1 – Pretty Deadly defeated The Brawling Brutes
This was the first match of the night and it was booked for seven and a half minutes. The match was mostly dominated by The Brawling Brutes but at the end they faced another defeat. Ridge Holland crashed into an exposed turnbuckle which helped Pretty Deadly to easily secure the victory.
It was announced that there would be a fatal 4 way match to determine the number one contender for the WWE United States Championship. Surprisingly there would be no LA Knight. Grayson Waller give a backstage interview next where he talked about his chances of winning the fatal 4 way match that is scheduled for later tonight.
The next update showed the long promo package of the Bloodline storyline in case you did not know that such a storyline is going on in WWE. What else could be the reason behind such a long promo package? Why do they have to keep reminding us again and again that this storyline is going on? This is just simple waste of time.
