This week’s SmackDown started as the Usos were seen standing inside the ring along with a King’s throne. They said that they would put the Crown on the head of the real king of Smackdown and that is Roman Reigns. WWE Universal Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns came out to the arena and entered the ring. He said that he did not need this stuffs to be acknowledged.
Xavier Woods aka King Woods came out to the arena and said those things might have belong to him but they do not make anyone a king. A king is someone who takes his responsibilities properly. He challenged Roman Reigns in a match where the Usos or Heyman would not come out.

Roman did not answer to his challenge and upon destroying his King of the Ring stuffs. When he was about to destroy the Throne, Woods tried to stop him but the Usos beat him down and Roman destroyed the throne.
Match 1 – Sheamus defeated Cesaro, Jinder Mahal and Ricochet in a fatal 4 way match to determine the final man of Smackdown Survivor Series team
It was a good match and it went on for nearly eight minutes. Ridge Holland helped Sheamus to win the match who pinned Cesaro after a Brogue Kick.
An excellent promo package was shown promoting the match between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair this Sunday and Survivor Series.
Match 2 – Shayna Baszler and Natalya defeated Naomi and Aliyah
The match was another build-up for the feud between Naomi and Sonya Deville. Natalya attempted to pin at the referee took the pin quickly. Clearly the angle would be shown as the referee was directed by Sonya to do so. They are building this feud for quite a long time, would they be able to do the justice to this feud at the end?
Backstage Sonya Deville and Sami Zayn was in conversation where Sonya announced a twenty five man battle royal at Survivor Series. The referee who screwed Naomi approached Sonya and asked if she did good. Sonya denied the claim had said she had nothing to do with it.
Match 3 – Jeff Hardy defeated Madcap Moss
Drew McIntyre was outside of the ring to make sure Corbin could not cause any damage. Jeff pinned Moss with a roll up. After the match, Corbin and Moss attempted to attack them but got beaten down.
Match 4 – Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Angel
Angel Garza’s name is now cut short to Angel. Seriously? It sounds ridiculous. Nakamura needed this win before heading to Survivor Series. He pinned Angel with the Kinshasa.
Match 5 – Sasha Banks defeated Shotzi
A seven minute long match where both women got offense. It would have been a better result if the match went to no contest. Sonya wanted them to shake hands after the match. They did it shake their hands but Sasha beat down Shotzi even after the handshake.
Xavier Woods came out to the arena. He said that since Roman Reigns did not accept his challenge he must be scared of him. Roman Reigns was coming out to the arena but it was seen that the usos got thrown away on the entrance stage. It was revealed to be the WWE champion Big E. The two world champions of WWE started fighting each other. At the end Big E came out as the stronger of the duo. Big E stood tall in the ring as this week’s Smackdown went off air.
The go home show of Smackdown before Survivor Series was definitely better than RAW. But it always feels that the spark of Smackdown is missing. Somehow it is not that fun to watch anymore. This week they tried to book a good show. But some of the matches this Sunday has no booking whatsoever, like the match between the tag team champions, and the match between the mid card champions. We give it 3 stars out 5.
