This week’s SmackDown started as footage from last week was shown where Jey Uso was asked to pick his side. At the end of the night, Jey picked his brother Jimmy Uso over The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns and they took Roman out with Super Kicks. The promo was pretty long. It went on for over four minutes.
They started as The Usos came out to the arena. They corrected everyone that they were not the Bloodline anymore but the Usos only. Jey Uso explained his actions last week, how he was frustrated with Roman Reigns. Jimmy Uso said Jey did the right thing and they hugged each other.

WWE SmackDown 23.06.2023 Results Part 1, Usos Opens The Show, Big Title Unification, Rey Mysterio Vs. LA Knight
They kept on taking out their frustrations on Roman Reigns. They also talked about Paul Heyman and compared him with a snake. But they did not mention their younger brother Solo Sikoa in this segment. At the end, they said that they would take their revenge at Money in the Bank in London.
Match 1 – LA Knight defeated Rey Mysterio

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship And NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships Got Unified
The first match of the night was booked for five and a half minutes and it was a fun match. LA Knight picked up a clean victory in this match, he pinned Rey Mysterio with the BFT finisher. After the match, he attempted to take Rey Mysterio’s mask off, Santos Escobar came out for the save and Knight escaped.
Backstage Solo Sikoa was seen walking along with Paul Heyman. Ridge Holland came into the way. He did not do anything to Solo, he was just passing by. Solo attacked Holland and nailed him with the Samoan Spike for no reason. Maybe the duo might face each other in a match in the future.

Little later Ridge Holland was still seen struggling to breathe and it was caused by the Samoan Spike from Solo Sikoa. The officials were checking on him. Sheamus looked really angry as he came out to the entrance stage and challenged Solo to a match tonight.
Match 2 – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Unification Match – WWE Woman’s Tag Team champions Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler defeated the NXT Women’s Tag Team champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn
This match was booked for six minutes and it was an average match. It showed how WWE values its women’s Tag Team division. Since it was a unification match, it was big. But it did not feature in the main event, it was not even advertised properly. It was treated as just another match.
