About this match on SmackDown, it was predictable. Everybody knew that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions would win. No way they would carry the legacy of the NXT title rather than the main roster. It turned out to be a pretty easy win for the deadly MMA duo. Both of them locked their opponents on their respective submission moves and they both tapped out.
Raquel Rodriguez was in the ringside during the match. After the match, she challenged Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler for the titles and she introduced Liv Morgan who made her return after the injury. Rodriguez and Morgan never lost the titles technically, so this match is definitely happening at some point in the future.

It is a little disappointing that WWE cut off the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships. It was definitely a better segment than the main roster one. Previously they have cut off the 24/7 Championship which completely destroyed the lower mid card division of WWE. We are not sure if Triple H is doing a good job in the women’s division and the lower mid card division.
Next up was the Grayson Waller Effect Talkshow with Pretty Deadly being the special guests. It was a pretty boring segment to be honest. Their promos were not bad, but it was boring. They talked about their victory last week and they also talked about challenging for the Tag Team championships next week on SmackDown.
Liv Morgan Returns To Smackdown To Challenge For Women’s Tag Team Titles
The Street Profits interfered them. They mocked Pretty Deadly and reminded how they did not beat the rest of the teams in the gauntlet technically but they still won the match. These two sides are scheduled to get into a match next which yearly would have been a promotion for Pretty Deadly before their big Tag Team Championship match next week.
Match 3 – Pretty Deadly defeated The Street Profits
As expected, Pretty Deadly received a big push before their big match next week. The match went on for 5 minutes and the babyface side dominated for the most part but Pretty Deadly earned a cheeky victory at the end. It looks like this team has a great future lying ahead of themselves in the main roster of WWE.
Match 4 – Charlotte Flair defeated Lacey Evans
This match was booked for only two and a half minutes and it was a routine went for the 14 times Women’s champion. Lacey Evans was portrayed as a hardcore jobber in this match who had no chance against her former rival here. Charlotte Flair made Evans submit with the Figure 8.
