It has not been a very good episode of Friday Night Smackdown. There were no promotions for two of the major storylines of the show right now, not even any mention of them, even there is only one week in hand till the next pay per view event. By the two major storylines we meant Daniel Bryan vs. Kane and Evolution vs. The Shield storylines. We can deal with no updates from the WWE World Heavyweight championship storyline since Daniel Bryan has been given a deadline day of next week’s Monday Night Raw of surrendering the WWE World Heavyweight championship. But there should have been some continuation of Evolution vs. The Shield storyline. None of the six superstars who are involved in this storyline showed up but Batista, not even a video promo had been shown. What we had this week was a promotion for the WWE’s reality shows; Legend’s house and Total Divas, the debut of Bo Dallas and a number of matches.
The show started with the Immortal Hulk Hogan entering the arena. The British fans were really happy to see the Hulkmania running wild on them. Hulk Hogan’s appearance was nothing special but to promote WWE’s new reality show Legend’s house.
Next event was a no disqualification match between Dolph Ziggler and Batista. It was a tremendous match. Arguably, the best match of the night. However, this match was not build up as a promotion for The Shield vs. Evolution which is going to take place at the Payback pay per view event. Batista won the match with a spear.
Next was a Divas tag team match which actually was a promotional match for WWE’s reality show Total Divas. The match was between The Funkadactyls and Nikki & Rosa Mendes. Summer Rae was the special guest referee of that match who took out her personal grudge on Rosa and Nikki by costing them the match.
The debut of Bo Dallas was next who had a wealthy battle against Sin Cara. After Dallas defeated Sin Cara, he shook his hands and asked Sin Cara to ‘bolieve’.
Next was the telecast of the match between the Divas champion Paige and Alicia Fox from last week on Monday Night Raw where Alicia Fox defeated the Divas champion.
Next was a non title match between the United States champion Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio. Antonio Cesaro and Paul Heyman were in the commentary box. The match was going pretty well but Cesaro attacked Sheamus during the match and nailed him with a Neutralizer outside of the ring.
Segment between Adam Rose and Vickie Guerrero was next which was not much important.
Main event time, The tag team champions Usos faced Luke Harper and Eric Rowan. John Cena was in the corner of the Usos and Bray Wyatt remained in his family’s corner. The Wyatt Family was disqualified as Bray Wyatt attacked the Usos during the match. Cena came in and nailed Eric Rowan with the AA. Cena taunted at Wyatt and Wyatt taunted back as the show went off air.
