Now onto this week, Becky entered the ring and said since Bianca was given a Homecoming party last week Becky was not treated with anything like that. But she could live with that. She wanted to congratulate Bianca, but Bianca threatened to attack that’s why she had to beat her down. It was the law of the Jungle.

Match 1 – WWE intercontinental championship Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Apollo Crews to retain

This was the first match of the night and it was for the intercontinental championship. The match was booked for only five minutes and it was quite entertaining. The match ended when Nakamura pinned Apollo with a roll up.

A number of backstage segments and footage from previous weeks of Smackdown was shown. Montez Ford challenged Roman Reigns in a match one on one tonight which Roman Reigns accepted.

Match 2 – Zelina Vega defeated Liv Morgan

This was a bit shocking result before Liv’s pay-per-view match this Sunday that she would lose to a jobber. All the momentum she gained since she is running slow after the release of Ruby Riott is almost lost. It could only be saved if she could snatch a dominant victory at Extreme Rules.

After the match, Shotzi and Nox enter the arena and made themselves clear. There next up for the Tag Team Championship opportunity.

Naomi came out to the arena. She talked about how Sonya Deville did not give her any match since joining Smackdown and she said that would not be moving without having a match. There is no doubt that this was the best match of the night. It was booked for nearly ten minutes and Montez Ford was really impressive in this match. Roman Reigns made him submit with the Guillotine Lock.

After the match, the Bloodline started beating of Ford as ‘The Demon’ Finn Balor arrived took down all three members of the Bloodline. He beat down Roman Reigns badly and gave a small cameo of the Extreme Rules. The Demon stood tall as this week’s Smackdown went off air.

Overall, it was a good week of Smackdown. There were not enough matches in this night but it did good to promote all the ongoing storylines and Extreme Rules. But some of the bookings of this week was quite weak. We give it 3 stars out 5.
