This week’s SmackDown started as Jey Uso was seen standing inside the ring. The announcer introduced him as Main Event Jey Uso which is something new. Before he could start his promo properly, got interrupted the entrance music of the Undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight champion Roman Reigns.
Paul Heyman, Solo Sikoa, and the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns came out to the arena. This is the first time Paul Heyman did not carry the previous two world championships of Roman Reigns. The champion carried the new unified Universal title only. This week Roman Reigns’ entrance did not take as long as he usually takes.

Roman Reigns said whatever Jey Uso achieved so far was because of him. And why was he pretending to be The Tribal Chief now? Jey said that he did not want any of that. Jey also supported Roman for three years because they were family and because they were family. But Roman Reigns broke the family.
Jey accused Roman for everything that went wrong including Jimmy’s injury and the death of the Bloodline. Roman Reigns declined the claims and accused Jey. He said whatever happened between them was because of his jealousy. He also said that he screwed his twin brother and his younger brother. So once he was beaten at SummerSlam he would be done.
Jey Uso Threatens To Beat Roman Reigns At Summerslam
Roman continued as he said if Jey gets to beat Roman at SummerSlam he would take his title and the garland. But at the end of the day, he would remain Roman Reigns. But there is no way Jey could be them. He asked Jey what medium thing that he could beat him. Jey reminded him that he already beat him and at SummerSlam he would beat him again.
Next up they showed a video package promoting the US Championship invitational that is going on for a couple of weeks and how Santos Escobar and Rey Mysterio came out victorious from their matches. The winner of this invitational would get a United States Championship opportunity.
Backstage Jey Uso was passing by as he was interrupted by Grayson Waller. He congratulated him for having a match against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam and he said that he would like to invite him for the Grayson Waller effect after he loses to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. In reply, Jey punched him right into the face.
