Backstage on Smackdown Bayley and Iyo Sky were intimidated once again by some cryptic message sent by Shotzi. As they were about to escape, Asuka interrupted them and warned Iyo that if she would try to cash in her contract, she would definitely fail. Iyo also threatened her that by the end of SummerSlam she would be standing as champion.
A big announcement was made next, there would be a Battle Royal and SummerSlam that would be presented by Slim Jim. Superstars from both WWE SmackDown and RAW would compete in it. Backstage Adam Pearce was seen and you are not going to believe what he was doing, he was talking over mobile phone! Surprising, isn’t it?
WWE SmackDown 28.07.2023 Results Part 3, Huge Match Announced For Summerslam, Jey Uso In Action, Roman Reigns Attacks Jey
LA Knight interfered and cleaved that not putting him into a United States championship match at SummerSlam was the biggest mistake. So he would like to compete in the SummerSlam Battle Royal. The Brawling Brutes interfered and they demanded to be in the Battle Royal as well. Pearce booked both sides for the Battle Royal, and he also made a match between LA Knight and Sheamus for next week on SmackDown.
Match 4 – Karrion Kross defeated Karl Anderson
This match was booked for only two minutes and it was a pretty win for the two times NXT champion. Are they trying to push Kross again? He pinned Anderson after the Final Prayer. After the match, they attempted to beat down Anderson even more, but the rest of the OC came out to help him.
Roman Reigns And Solo Sikoa Beat Down Jey Uso
Match 5 – Jey Uso defeated Grayson Waller
This match was booked earlier after the duo net each other backstage and Jey attacked Waller. About the match it was booked for around seven minutes and it was a good match. Roman Reigns came out during the match along with his Bodyguard and Wiseman and remained on the ring side throughout. Jey pinned Grayson Waller after a Spear and a Splash. So three defeats out of the first three main roster matches for Waller.
After the match, Solo Sikoa attacked Jey Uso and started beating him down. As he was about to hit the Samoan Spike, Jey ducked it and took him out of the ring. Roman Reigns quickly attempted to attack him but Jey what back once again and started beating the Tribal Chief down. Jey even hit a Spear on Roman Reigns.
As he was about to hit the Frog Splash, Solo Sikoa that came from outside and finally he was able to ground him. Roman and Solo teamed up and started beating down Jey. They eat the Samoan Spike and Spear combo twice on Jey. Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa celebrated on the lifeless body of Jey Uso as this week’s SmackDown went off air.
