This week’s Smackdown started as the Smackdown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair came out to the arena. She welcomed everyone to Smackdown. Before she could continue the Smackdown Tag Team Champions Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode came out. They said that it should be them who would welcome fans to Smackdown.
The Street Profits came out followed by Bayley. She directly entered the ring and took the mic away from Bianca’s hands. Bayley started laughing at her and the Street Profits as Bianca slapped her directly on the face. Bayley and Bianca started fighting each other as the tag team champions and the Street Profits started fighting too.

Match 1 – Bianca Belair and the Street Profits defeated Bayley and The Dirty Dawgs in a six person tag team match
The match was booked for seven minutes and it was an entertaining match. The babyface side mostly dominated the match and Montez Ford pinned Robert Ford with a Frog Splash. Only one thing was not cleared, what was Bayle laughing at?
Backstage Daniel Bryan said if he wins the title he would give his first title shot to Cesaro. Seth Rollins on the other hand challenged Cesaro next week on Smackdown.
Match 2 – Natalya and Tamina defeated WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler
The match was booked for five minutes and it was quite entertaining in a small amount of time. Tamina pinned Shayna Baszler after a Superfly Splash to secure the victory for her side.
Match 3 – Big E defeated WWE IC Champion Apollo Crews by DQ, Apollo retained
The match was booked around ten minutes and it was mostly dominated by Big E. He was about to get the title back from Apollo after a Big Ending, Commander Azeez pulled Big E out of the ring and knocked him out. Dabba Kato is now known as Commander Azeez.
Kevin Owens came out and attacked Azeez. Azeez fought back as Sami Zayn came out and attacked Owens. Azeez and Zayn teamed up and beat down Big E too. Zayn handed the IC title to Apollo as Azeez knocked Azeez down with the Nigerian Nail.
Match 4 – WWE Champion Roman Reigns defeated Daniel Bryan to retain
A lot of things to talk about this match. Firstly, it was hyped throughout the event quite well as different superstars predicted the winner for the match. Next, Roman Reigns came out with a new theme music today. The match was booked for around twenty minutes. It was a very good match throughout. For the first time, Roman won via submission.
After the match, Bryan attempted to hurt Bryan more, but Cesaro came out in Bryan’s aid. He kept beating down Roman as Jey Uso interfered and helped Roman. Roman and Jey Uso kept beating down Cesaro as the show went off the air.
Overall, it was a very good show. There was action, story building, and everything. We give it 3.5 stars out of 5. One star will be deducted for not having enough matches on the card and half star will be deducted for weak booking for Kevin Owens.
