One of the most captivating storylines on the current Smackdown scenario is how King Corbin is trying to get back his crown. Shinsuke Nakamura stole his crown and now the King of Strong Style gimmick is back. Ric Boogz is helping him out, each week to retain the same. Corbin was unable to get his crown back again this week. Afterward, Corbin has had enough of Nakamura’s actions.

King Corbin was not happy at all about Shinsuke Nakamura taking his crown, this week. Corbin actually defeated Nakamura in a singles contest on Smackdown but after the match, Nakamura ran away with the crown, yet again. Then Corbin wanted to settle things once and for all. So he approached Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville to demand that the officials should do something about it.

Commander Azeez will make in-ring debut on Smackdown

Speaking of next week, a big debut will take place on Smackdown in the form of Commander Azeez, who’s been acting as the bodyguard of Apollo Crews for the past couple of months. This week, Kevin Owens and Big E defeated Sami Zayn and Apollo Crews in a tag team match. After this match, Crews mentioned that Big E and Owens had the win due to him being stuck with Sami. Apollo then challenged the two of them to a tag team match against himself and Commander Azeez, next week.

After the match was announced, Sami Zayn got in the ring and he took a Nigerian Nail as WWE is trying to make Commander Azeez look very strong. It’s assumed that he will be portrayed as a dominant force during his debut match as the company may want to present him as the next monster on the roster.

Before starting appearances on Smackdown, Azeez competed on Raw Underground as Dabba Kato. As those segments were scrapped, Azeez was introduced at Wrestlemania 37 where he helped Crews winning the Intercontinental Title from Big E.
