WWE Smackdown February 28, 2017 Preview – Shinsuke Nakamura to make main Roster Debut?

Last week Smackdown was clearly a better show than Raw and it is the story of almost every week.

We believe this week also Smackdown will turn out to be the better show of the two.

But the biggest question of this week is, how would they deal with the major botch of last week’s battle royal? It was booked to be a fair draw where both AJ Styles and Luke Harper hit the ground together but AJ hit the ground way before Luke and it was a big botch.

Now it would be interesting to see how they manage to get out of this error. The best way what we think to manage the situation is, just show the replay of last week and declare Luke harper as the winner, and pretend like it was all preplanned. As AJ Styles is not booked for WrestleMania main event and we all know that, there is no need to continue his journey for the title shot.

There is another big rumour that Shinsuke Nakamura is scheduled to debut on the main roster as a Smackdown guy and he will be feuding with none other than his former teammate AJ Styles. Both wrestlers are willing to face other which has also been aired earlier.

Another thing to see from this week is the mixed tag team action that is going to be booked for WrestleMania. The build up for this feud so far is good and it has been an old school type of buildup. Miz has done a great job last week, one more thing they must not continue is the Natalya – Nikki feud. It has to be it. Now they should focus on their WrestleMania buildups.

The feud between Dean Ambrose and Baron Corbin is turning out to be quite impressive too. The buildup of this feud and Cena – Miz feud is pretty similar, the old school way, still, it never gets old. We think they should announce their WrestleMania match by this week so it could get all the hype before the show finally takes place.

In the Women’s division, the biggest problem is most of the current women are heel. With Naomi out of action, we have only two babyface women and among them, one is already booked in a feud. The other one is Becky Lynch and is not booked but she lost to Alexa Bliss almost every week. With Nikki being involved in a feud with Maryse, Natalya is now unbooked along with three other heel women. So the situation is, we have four unbooked heel women and only one babyface woman who is not booked. If you consider Becky Lynch is booked with Mickie James, what about the other three women? It would be very interesting to see how they manage this situation.

Now it is high time to stop Dolph Ziggler from feuding with Kalisto and Apolo Crews. It is not working for anyone. Especially, it is burying Ziggler. They should stop it now, or if they just have to continue it, they should bring the Spirit Squad back as Ziggler’s partners, this would be the only way to make things interesting.
