Natalya is a veteran female name in the WWE women’s division who’s been with the company for the past 15 years. During the time span, she’s competed in the most number of TV and PPV matches in the history of the WWE and thereby entered the Guinness Books of World Record in recent times. But WWE keeps her as one of the underdogs on the roster who keeps on putting over fresh talents.
The tradition remains the same for Natalya since her entry into the WWE in 2006. In May 2021, she became the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions with Tamina Snuka but then they lost the titles to Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley. Also, the veterans put over the likes of Tegan Nox and Shotzi on Smackdown before dropping the belts.

The fact that Natalya keeps on jobbing to newer talents, makes her a true veteran among the female superstar in the WWE. While speaking on Tuesday Wrestling Tuesday, she expressed excitement on stars such as Liv Morgan getting opportunities in WWE. Then she was a guest on a recent episode of The Bump alongside fellow wrestlers Titus O’Neil and Dolph Ziggler to talk about the latest set of talent in the company.
Natalya and Toni Storm were key performers on Smackdown
Natalya praised SmackDown star Toni Storm for her work ethic, saying that the 26-year-old has a great passion for the wrestling business and how much she loves being part of the WWE. Since the two are resident Smackdown superstars, the veteran also wanted to square off inside the squared circle.
“Well, Toni is just such a special talent,” Natalya said. She continued, “She’s somebody that when I see her and I look at her body of work even just going back to her work in Japan before she was ever with WWE.”
“She’s also humble. She’s a nice person. She’s somebody that is so sweet and likeable. She’s great to be around. For me, I’m already thinking of the magic that we can make in the ring. So I hope Toni is ready for me to kick her ass.”
Toni Storm has already featured in a feud with Charlotte Flair over the Smackdown Women’s Championship. The former NXT UK Women’s champion also featured in the traditional Survivor Series tag team elimination match alongside Natalya to come up short against Team Raw. But she’s reportedly been released by the WWE in late December.
