Sasha Banks is one of the top female superstars present in the WWE locker room who also represents the brand in a big way. Apart from being a performer in the ring, she often makes appearances on media events, red carpets, and charity events on behalf of the WWE. That was the case this past Friday night before she appeared on TV for Smackdown.
Prior to the Friday Night show on FOX, one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions took the time to visit KIPP AMP Middle School in Brooklyn, New York. Several photos and video clips have been released on the internet about the visit and the children were seemingly thrilled to see a Sasha Banks in person.

The Legit Boss of the WWE had a communicative session with the middle-schoolers and let them hold her WWE Women’s Tag Team Title belt to pose for pictures. They even gathered with the top WWE Superstar to take a big group photo. She also threw a few speeches toward the children for inspiration.

Sasha Banks involved in a championship feud on Smackdown
Over on Smackdown from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York, Sasha Banks, and her partner Naomi have been engaged in a rivalry with Shayna Baszler and Natalya over the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. They have captured the belt by defeating the former champion Carmella and Zelina Vega in a Fatal-4-Way match at Wrestlemania 38 in Dallas, Texas.
This week on Smackdown, Sasha Banks suffered a defeat at the hands of Shayna Baszler after a distraction caused by Natalya. The two heels tried to deliver a beatdown on her. But the champions ended up standing tall and thereby sent the heel team for a retreat. Next week, the two teams will square off in a championship match.
Overall, Sasha Banks has already solidified her legacy in the WWE since her debut with the company in 2012. Over the span of almost a decade, she would go on to become an NXT Women’s Champion, a 5-time RAW Women’s Champion, a SmackDown Women’s Champion, a 3-time and current Women’s Tag Team Champion, the fourth-ever women’s triple crown winner in WWE. She’s also the third woman to ever be a grand slam champion by capturing all the relevant golds from the women’s division.
