Former Million Dollar Champion LA Knight is currently working as an active wrestler of Friday Night Smackdown. He was promoted to the main roster last year after WrestleMania 38. He had been pretty impressive on the main roster from the very first day of joining and it is pretty much certain that he would receive a big push from WWE.

He spent a couple of years on the NXT before joining the main roster where he was mostly treated as a lower mid card. Fans were not enough hopeful about him on the main roster since he was never a big deal in the NXT. But he proved everyone wrong with his great wrestling skill and mostly with his amazing mic skill.

WWE SmackDown Star Breaks Silence: Grateful for Long Awaited Recognition

There are rumours that he would soon be treated as an upper mid card or he could even promote to the main event level according to certain rumours. Most of the media sources claim that he is the favourite to win the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match of this year.

LA Knight recently appeared on WWE’s The Bump where he expressed his reaction on finally earning the respect from the fans that he deserves. Knight is currently one of the most famous stars among the WWE Universe and one of the biggest reasons behind his success is his excellent mic skill. Here is what he had to say;

LA Knight Is Happy For Finally Getting Recognition

“There’s a little bit of relief, there’s a little bit of ‘I told you so,’ there’s a little bit of anger, there’s a little bit of annoyance, if I’m honest,” he said, “Finally the WWE’s gonna give me what I want. Why? Because I had to go out and make it happen … I didn’t get shoved down anybody’s throat. I wasn’t anybody’s guy.”

“I’m the last of a dying breed,” he said. “I do things differently than a lot of people. At the end of the day, they talk about a 5-tool player, they talk about the total package. Well, we ain’t talking about Lex Luger, we’re talking about LA Knight.” Said the former Million Dollar Man.

Knight was given a different gimmick upon making his main roster debut but after Triple H became the Head of Creative of WWE, he decided to restore his famous LA Knight gimmick and since then he had been extremely successful in the main roster of WWE. We hope the 40 year old professional wrestler has an excellent future lying ahead of himself in WWE.
