Not all the WWE Raw or WWE Smackdown female talents could be happy over their booking on weekly television. Sure, WWE has changed the game for the women’s roster over the course of the past few years with the so-called Women’s Evolution but things have also changed in recent times. Major inconsistency has been noticed in the booking of the top as well as low card talents.

Vince McMahon himself pushed the Women’s Evolution and he also overlooked things alongside Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. But the billionaire is currently under investigation for sexual harassment allegations. There have also been allegations against him to put himself on WWE Raw or WWE Smackdown rather than pushing the young female talents, properly.

One particular WWE Smackdown superstar sees things differently and she rather praises McMahon Sr. for pushing the envelope, even more. WWE veteran female talent Natalya recently appeared on Ariel Helwani Meets YouTube show and discussed many things including how Vinnie Mac books things around the women’s division.

“Whenever I go in to pitch an idea to Vince McMahon – because at the end of the day, he’s the guy we pitch to – I always make sure to pitch stuff that’s going to elevate other people… Vince has been super receptive to making sure there’s been even more inclusion,” stated Natalya.

WWE Smackdown female Superstars weren’t happy with their spring booking

This was the same interview that the former WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion also admitted that Vince was the first person she called after the demise of her father, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Neidhart, in 2018. Nattie is no doubt close to the McMahons, having worked in the company since 2006. Plus, she has also been a regular feature on WWE TV which doesn’t bring any complaints.

However, Sean Sapp has reported previously on Fightful Select that several female talents, specifically on WWE Smackdown were frustrated with their booking during the 2022 spring. One of the factors that negatively worked in the situation was the returns of Asuka and Lacey Evans and Charlotte Flair taking time off.

Ronda Rousey joining the WWE SmackDown roster was also cited to be a factor although Rousey has reportedly been more than willing to work with a variety of talent on TV. Rousey and Natalya have been involved in the summer for a championship program that later included Liv Morgan into it.
