Liv Morgan has been enjoying the best phase of her career with the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship by her side. She has been a fan-favorite heading into WWE Money in the Bank and fans were elated to see her winning the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match on that night.
Later that night, she ended up winning the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship from Ronda Rousey at the Premium Live Event by successfully cashing in the Money in the Bank contract. It was a surprising happening on WWE programming given an emerging star like her pinned the protected Ronda Rousey.

Moving on, WWE fans started to cool down on the 28-year-old superstar and they even began to boo her after WWE SummerSlam. Morgan defended WWE Smackdown Women’s Title against Ronda on that night and retained it after the referee never saw that she tapped out. Ronda appeared to have the match won via submission but the referee rather awarded her with the pinfall loss since her shoulders were down.

Liv Morgan to defend WWE Smackdown Women’s Title at Extreme Rules
Now, Liv Morgan is scheduled to put her WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship on the line against Ronda Rousey, once again this Saturday night at the WWE Extreme Rules premium live event. Heading into the show, WWE Universe thinks that the challenger has the upper hand given it will be an Extreme Rules match.
WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion also recently spoke with Rick Ucchino on the Bleav in Pro Wrestling show to reflect her confidence in whether or not the fans believe in her. Rick asked Liv if anything has changed for her as champion when she appears on TV. The champion responded with the following comments and thereby cited that she’s the best woman at the scene,
“It didn’t feel real for what feels like forever. I remember people asking me ‘does it feel real yet?’ and it had been like a month and a half later and I’m still like ‘no’. But I feel like over the past couple of weeks, the last month or so, it’s really settled.
