Amongst the confirmed matches from Extreme Rules 2022, there will be two women’s division title matches. Liv Morgan will defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Ronda Rousey in an Extreme Rules Match while Bianca Belair will defend her RAW Women’s Championship against Bayley in a Ladder Match. It appears that one of the titles will change hands.
Extreme Rules 2022: Update On The Main Event Match For October WWE PLE
Going by the betting odds released by BetOnline, the red brand women’s champion Bianca Belair is the current favorite to retain her RAW Women’s Championship with odds of -140 standing against Bayley at +100. On the other hand, Liv Morgan (+160) is lagging behind Ronda Rousey (-220) who could lose the Extreme Rules Match as well as the SmackDown Women’s title.
Ronda Rousey Blasted By Top Champion For Losses Ahead of WWE Extreme Rules 2022
As noted above, Ronda Rousey will challenge Liv Morgan for the Smackdown Women’s Championship in an Extreme Rules Match at Extreme Rules 2022. This is going to be the second only time that a women’s title from the main roster will be defended under Extreme Rules capacity.
Previously, Alexa Bliss successfully defended her Raw Women’s Title against Nia Jax at Extreme Rules 2018 was the only Extreme Rules women’s division bout in WWE history. During that match, Ronda Rousey was sitting at ringside to provide assistance to Jax against the heel antics of Bliss.
