Sonya Deville was able to avoid a shocking situation, this past weekend as a man named Philip A Thomas II was trying to break into her house with the intention of kidnapping her. Thankfully though the police arrived in time after getting informed as he alleged person was arrested who is now under custody while planning for his first day in court.

More disturbing details have been surfaced regarding this situation where the attacker had also targeted Mandy Rose who was apparently staying with Sonya Deville in her house.
The former Fire & Desire members might be featuring in a heated feud on television, but they’re legit friends in real life. The two were in Deville’s home at the time of the attempted kidnapping from Philip A Thomas II, as per reports from the Tampa Bay Times.
It was reported that Sonya Deville yelled to Thomas while asking the following “what are you doing, what do you want?! He was withing just four feet of distance from her at that time who then started walking toward her. Thomas was holding a knife in his hand and a pepper spray in the other. “This is when I realized this person was not here to rob me, he was there to hurt me,” Deville informed.

It was confirmed in the report that the friend who was giving company to Sonya Deville in her was Mandy Rose. Deville woke Rose up who was sleeping at the time of the invasion. Deville informed Rose “there’s a man in the house, we have to go.” After that, they called 911 and the concerned deputies arrived minutes later.
PW Insider additionally informed that Thomas has now been assigned with a public defender. He decided to use his fifth amendment right to remain silent. Thomas was charged by the with Aggravated Stalking, Armed Burglary of a Dwelling, Attempted Armed Kidnapping, and Criminal Mischief.
Sonya Deville has also been given a temporary injunction against Thomas. They have a court date hearing later this month to make that injunction permanent. A pre-trial detention hearing is also scheduled, tomorrow where the court will decide if Thomas is allowed to get a bail via a bond. He is currently being held without bond while waiting for that date.
Sonya Deville previously released a statement where she thanked the police for taking swift action. She also thanked fans and people for being concerned about her well-being. She could be part of a very bad situation but escaped the same making quick efforts.
