A brand new pay-per-view named Stomping Grounds took place in WWE programming that mostly had rematches on the card. The WWE and Universal titles were on the line whereas the women’s champions also defended their respective belts. Plus, there was a Wrestlemania rematch where Roman Reigns was out for vengeance. Check out the results from the show that emanated from the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington.

WWE Raw Women’s Championship
Lacey Evans vs. Becky Lynch (c)
The champion was in control of the end-part of the match hitting a Bexploder Suplex on her opponent. She wanted to hit the leg drop off the top rope but Lacey moved out of the way. Evans countered with a jawbreaker and tried to hit the slingshot splash. But Becky got her knees up and locked in the dis-arm-her submission move, forcing Lacey to tap out and win the opening contest of Stomping Grounds.

Big E and Xavier Woods vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn
This match at Stomping Grounds witnessed a quick start where Owens shoved Big E off the ring apron. Sami Zayn hit a Blue Thunder Bomb on Woods to which Owens followed up with a frog splash. But Woods kicked out. After digesting initial beatdowns, Woods tagged in E who brought momentums back hitting a pair of belly-to-belly overhead suplexes. But Owens neutralized him and hit a Helluva Kick on Woods. Owens hit a pop-up powerbomb when broke up the pin count. Zayn distracted E after which Owens hit Woods with a Stunner to get the pinfall win.
WWE United States Championship
Ricochet vs. Samoa Joe (c)
Joe delivered a vicious German Suplex and turned Ricochet inside out with a clothesline for a near fall. He went for a Uranage but Ricochet avoided that. Joe tried to lock in the Coquina Clutch but instead received a codebreaker. Ricochet then followed up with a top-rope 630-splash to win the US Title at Stomping Grounds. At backstage, superstars gave a standing ovation.
WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship
Daniel Bryan and Rowan (c) vs. Heavy Machinery
The challengers were in initial control against the champions. The home-state crowd of Daniel Bryan booed those moves until he fired back with some YES kicks. But Otis fired back with his caterpillar move. He hit Rowan with a cross-body and went for The Compactor. Bryan broke up the move as Tucker hit another cross-body on Rowan on the floor. Bryan caught him with a roll-up to get the pinfall win and retain the tag titles.
WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship
Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley (c)
After hitting a sunset flip into the turnbuckles, Bayley neutralized Nikki Cross with a suicidal dive. Bliss attacked her from the back with a Code Red. Bliss went to the top rope but Bayley put the knees up when she executed Twisted Bliss. Bayley hit the Bayley-to-Belly for the win at Stomping Grounds.

Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre
McIntyre charged to Roman Reigns while he making his entrance at Stomping Grounds. They brawled outside the ring before the fight emerged to the ring. Reigns punched him and hit a WILD diving splash to the floor! McIntyre came back with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex followed by a Glasgow Kiss. Reigns countered with a spear but Shane pulled out the referee. Shane hit a coast-to-coast but Reigns kicked out. He avoided a Claymore and connected with another spear to pin McIntyre.

WWE Championship match inside Steel Cage
Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston (c)
At one point, both the men climbed to the top of the cage and fell onto the mat! Kofi took upper hand connecting with an SOS for a near fall. Ziggler hit a DDT on Kofi’s leg and had the ankle-lock in. He also hit a Zig-Zag for a near fall. He was inching closer to escape the cage but Kofi dived out of the door to hit the mat first to retain his title at Stomping Grounds.
WWE Universal Championship
Baron Corbin vs. Seth Rollins (c)
Special Guest Referee: Lacey Evans
Baron Corbin introduced Lacey Evans to be the special guest referee at Stomping Grounds main event. She was obviously acting partially towards Corbin. At one point, Corbin hit some chair shots to Rollins but Evans restarted the match with No Disqualification rules. Evans low-blowed Rollins allowing Corbin to hit the End of Days. Becky Lynch ran out to put down Evans with a Bexploder. Rollins hit the Stomp on Corbin as John Cone counted the pinfall for the victory. Rollins and Lynch stood tall to end the show.
