SummerSlam 2020 went down last night with the Universal Championship match, being the main event. The WWE Title from Raw was on the line alongside the Tag Titles and the US Title. It was a SummerSlam 2020 kick-off show match where Crews hit a standing moonsault. MVP tried to counter with a Playmaker that got blocked. Crews instead hit a Sit-down Powerbomb to get the pinfall win.

Asuka’s first title shot of Summerslam 2020 night
Asuka got a near fall after hitting the Codebreaker on her opponent who came back with a sunset bomb on the turnbuckles. Bayley wanted to hit the top rope elbow but got caught into the Asuka Lock. Banks tried to distract as Asuka broke the hold and kicked her off the apron. Bayley took advantage and rolled her up for the ping from to retain her title at SummerSlam 2020.

Andrade and Angel Garza vs. The Street Profits (c)
Angel Garza was dominating Montez Ford hitting a knee. Andrade tagged in and hit a Stomp on Ford. Zelina Vega was accidentally knocked out as Andrade was checking on her leaving Garza alone in the ring. Ford and Dawkins double-teamed on her to get the pinfall win at SummerSlam 2020.
