The Queen has done it again at WWE Summerslam 2021, keeping her winning streak intact at the biggest event of the summer. During the PPV triple threat match, Charlotte Flair defeated Rhea Ripley and former champion Nikki Cross A.S.H. to win the strap. With this win, she has now become a twelve-time singles women’s champion on the main roster, an accolade no woman in the history of the WWE doesn’t possess.
The finishing sequences of this match witnessed Flair applying the Figure Four, then bridging into the Figure Eight on Ripley. Nikki flew in to break it up but lands badly to hurt her knee. Ripley screamed in pain but went for the Riptide on Nikki who countered into a DDT.
Nikki limped to the top and went for a crossbody but Flair dodged it. Flair applied the Figure Four to Nikki and then bridged into the Figure Eight as Nikki reached for the ropes and screamed out. Nikki tapped out for the finish of this title match. This outcome also marked the fourth title change of the WWE Summerslam 2021 title match.

Flair has clinched another title win at WWE Summerslam 2021
The win has also marked Flair’s 6th title reign with the red brand title while counting the two NXT Title reigns and the women’s tag team titles reign, she has become a 15-time champion in the WWE (although WWE doesn’t officially recognize this stat as she is being touted as a 12-time champion).
Nikki A.S.H won the Raw women’s title back on the July 19 RAW episode by cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase on Flair and went on to hold the title for 31 days since then before dropping it at WWE Summerslam 2021. Before that, Charlotte Flair won the belt at Money in the Bank PPV by defeating Rhea Ripley in a singles contest but she lost it to Nikki within just 24 hours later.
It should be noted that Nikki was the one to get pinned at WWE Summerslam 2021 Triple Threat while Ripley was not involved in the match-decider submission move. While Nikki can always demand a rematch for her title, Ripley can also claim a rematch capitalizing on the fact that she was never pinned or submitted. Hence, another triple threat could be likely in the near future for the Raw Women’s Title.
