Summerslam 2022 has been preponed from the usual timeslot of August and match buildups have already begun on WWE programming. A couple of weeks ago, Brock Lesnar returned to the fold to get himself inserted into the championship picture against Roman Reigns.

This culminated in a Last Man Standing match at Summerslam 2022 that will serve as the main event of the show. Besides, a celebrity wrestler will also be seen at the late-July event.

Logan Paul has officially signed a new contract with WWE just a few hours ago to become a WWE Superstar. After the social media influencer’s good performance at WrestleMania 38, he wanted to do more with the company. Now he’s officially signed to a contract and he’s coming straight to get his hands on The Miz at Summerslam 2022.

Big match storyline begins around Summerslam 2022

The Maverick made his professional wrestling debut on Night One of WrestleMania 38 as he partnered up with The Miz and picked up a win over The Mysterios. Once the match was over, Miz turned on Paul and planted him with a Skull Crushing Finale. Now, Paul is coming for his revenge.

After signing on the dotted lines with the WWE, Paul made his intentions clear with a strong promo against The Miz as he eyes a match at Summerslam 2022. But before that, we expect him to be back on WWE’s weekly TV program Raw in the coming weeks.

In more news around Paul, Ariel Helwani noted how he’s expected to make his next WWE in-ring appearance at SummerSlam 2022. Plus, this new deal with the WWE will also allow him to perform on a regular basis rather than being a part-timer.

“Additional details per sources: Deal includes an undisclosed number of premium live events across 2022 and 2023. He’ll likely, I’m told, have his first big appearance at SS but could be on TV before that. He signed his deal yesterday.”
