Brock Lesnar has returned and he’s on his way to the main event of WWE Summerslam 2022, right away. Per WWE’s announcement, the two titans are set to collide in a mega rematch in the headliner of the Biggest Event of the Summer.

Summerslam 2022 will witness the 9th match between Reigns and Lesnar
Once this segment was over, WWE announced that Reigns will defend the two top world titles against Lesnar in a Last Man Standing match in the main event of SummerSlam 2022 premium live event on 30th July. This will be a rematch between the two from Wrestlemania 38 in last April where Reigns defeated Lesnar in the main event of night two where both Reigns’ Universal Title and Lesnar’s WWE Title were unified.
With that, this will be the umpteenth time that Lesnar and Reigns will collide with each other at Summerslam 2022. It all started with WrestleMania 31 in 2015, where Seth Rollins cashed in his Money In The Bank contract during the main event to walk out with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Counting that occasion, the feud has produced eight matches with the most recent one being the main event of night two of WrestleMania 38. Reigns has won 4 contests against Lesnar, while Lesnar has won 3 matches against the reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Now, the next bout between them is scheduled to be a gimmick match at Summerslam 2022 where the only way to defeat your opponent is to take him down for the referee’s ten-count.
