In the main event of Summerslam 2022 Premium Live Event, Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing Match to retain The Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. This marked the overall 8th singles contest between the two of them in a PLE and perhaps the best one among all those.
Summerslam 2022 audience was seen chanting ‘this is awesome’ by the end of the night due to the mesmerizing spots created throughout the match. It all started with The Bloodline making their way out to the ring and telling the crowd of the Nissan Stadium to acknowledge him. A “Tribal Chief” chant broke out after which Brock Lesnar came out on a Tractor.
Interestingly, Lesnar made his own ring introduction from the top of the Tractor and then jumped on Reigns to make the Summerslam 2022 main event, under-way. Lesnar has initially dominated The Head Of The Table in a massive brawl.
Lesnar took out a table from under the ring but thanks to the distraction by Paul Heyman, Reigns delivered a Samoan Drop on Brock through the Table. Reigns then smashed Lesnar in the head with the Steel Ring Steps and Rock Bottom-ed him on it. Lesnar was up on his feet on the count of 7.

Summerslam 2022 witnessed a hellacious No-DQ fight
Even after receiving a Spear and Spinebuster, Lesnar came back in the main event of Summerslam 2022 as he smashed Roman with the Steel Ring Steps and a broken piece of Table. Brock put Roman in the front loader of the Tractor and lifted it up and then dropped Roman in the ring but the latter got up at 7.
At one point, Heyman got in Lesnar’s face and an irate Lesnar picked up Heyman and F5-ed him through a Table. Roman took advantage and spear-ed Brock! As promised before Summerslam 2022, Mr. Money In The Bank Theory then came running out and hit Roman with the briefcase. He was about to cash in his contract but Brock planted him with an F-5. The Usos then dropped The Beast with double superkicks.

Roman then hit Lesnar in the head with the Universal Title belt and buried him with whatever they could find at ringside. Brock couldn’t get up on his feet within the referee’s ten counts. Thus, Roman was declared the winner as he left Summerslam 2022 as still the reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion on the 699th day of the title reign.
