For a long time now, Drew McIntyre has been rumored to feature in a marquee match at Clash at the Castle 2022 since it takes place in his native land. Now he has just solidified the main event opportunity for himself by winning a number-one contender’s match on the latest edition of Smackdown.

No matches have been announced for the event but the likes of Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Roman Reigns, Ronda Rousey, and WWE Hall of Famer Edge are being advertised for it.
