WWE Superstars have to go by the ethics where they must be pronouncing the words given by the writers while being on TV. They don’t often go beyond this rule unless Vince McMahon gives them special permission. They have to memorize lines in a hurry, no matter what before entering the ring.
The point is that WWE Superstars don’t only have to rehearse their scheduled matches but also the promos they have to speak on TV. The company’s general edict is that they must stick to the script given by the writers. Some of the top names who are really good at promos make it seem effortless making it look that they’ve improvised which may not be the case.

The lines which are written for him are thrown at a versatile pitch by him, making it look unscripted. The Miz isn’t the only amongst WWE Superstars who don’t really like to improvise. A tenured member of the creative team told us that “Bayley and Sasha Banks don’t really improvise but have a lot of input in their segments.”
These names who already have become veterans in this trade, only improvise the lines to make it look out of the box. The source also reported that the Street Profits are very close to their writer. Being good pitch thrower, they also get more opportunities to improvise for promos. Paul Heyman previously fought for this on behalf of the WWE Superstars and some of then like Street Profits get that much freedom.
