Aliyah had a huge debut on WWE Smackdown and she was also awarded a spot for WWE Survivor Series 2021. But before her dream, she was barred from representing Team Smackdown as part of the women’s 5-on-5 elimination match at the PPV event. It appears that WWE just wouldn’t want to let her ride in with the momentums that she received the pinfall victory for her team in a six-woman tag team action.
For some reason, WWE Official Sonya Deville ruled that Aliyah wasn’t a fit to represent the women’s matchup next Sunday and decided that it was best for her to be removed from the Survivor Series 2021 team. On this weekend’s WWE Talking Smack, backstage correspondent Kayla Braxton spoke with Aliyah about this disappointing news while trying to pick her brain.

“I’m just trying to figure out why what I did I do to deserve that?” Aliyah questioned. “I worked so hard to get here to WWE, and I worked so hard to make it. To be on the team for Survivor Series meant the world to me. To have it be ripped away from me like that, I don’t know what I did.”
Ricochet also reacted to Survivor Series 2021 team
Ricochet, who previously doubted WWE’s policy to pick Survivor Series 2021 was spotted during the interview as he tried to send some words of encouragement to Aliyah. When Braxton brought him Aliyah threw a flirtingly smile to Ricochet and stated,
“Uh, it was cool that someone sees a different side of me. Yeah, Ricochet, he’s been helping me a lot.”

There’s no update on who will be the backup name for Aliyah at Survivor Series 2021 but as per the words of the newly brought Smackdown star, she belongs to the blue brand who also wants Sonya Deville to see her improvements in due course,
“Anyone who wants to doubt what I can do, well, you haven’t seen anything yet,” she warned. “And Ms. Sonya Deville, you want to kick me off the team, well, you’ve got another thing coming to you because what I’m about to show you, everyone and the WWE Universe is going to be incredible.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
Over on Smackdown, Sami Zayn also lost his spot as Zayn came up short in a match against Jeff Hardy with the loser being removed from Team SmackDown. The match was made after Zayn tried to convince Adam Pearce that Hardy should be removed from the team. WWE Survivor Series 2021 will take place on November 21 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York City and we expect a replacement for Zayn in a due course.
