WWE Survivor Series 2021 was the weakest built pay per view event of the entire year, and arguably, it was the worst built Survivor Series ever in WWE history. But how was the event? None of the matches looked weak on paper. Let us go through everything that took place in the event.
The show started as video promo for both the show and the upcoming movie of the Rock was shown simultaneously. It was a good video package. This is the only thing right now that is WWE good at making.

WWE Survivor Series 2021 Results & Ratings
Match 1 – WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch defeated WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair
This was arguably one of the most anticipated matches of the night and it was indeed one of the best matches in the night as well. The match went on for nearly twenty minutes but it met a weak ending. Charlotte was attempting a roll up pin on Becky with the help of a rope, referee saw it and cancelled the pin. Becky reversed the pin and attempted it with the help of rope and this time referee missed it. Such a weak ending.

Match 2 – Men’s Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match – Team RAW defeated Team Smackdown (Sole Survivor – Seth Rollins)
It was a good match. Not the best ever but good. Kevin Owens counted himself out as soon as the match started since he did not want to team up with the rest. Finn Balor next eliminated Happy Corbin with the Coup De Grace. King Woods got eliminated next by Bobby Lashley. Next Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre got eliminated together as they both counted themselves out. Sheamus eliminated Finn Balor next. Austin Theory eliminated Sheamus next. Jeff Hardy eliminated Theory next and Rollins pinned Jeff at the end. The run of Jeff was really amazing.

Match 3 – Omos wins the 25 man inter promotional battle royal
Omos completely dominated the Battle Royal with 12 eliminations in total. No one could get even a single offence against the big man. He was completely unstoppable in this match. It would be interesting to see him in the Royal Rumble match. He eliminated Ricochet last to win the Battle Royal.

Match 4 – WWE RAW Tag Team Champions RK- Bro defeated WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion The Usos
The match was booked for nearly fifteen minutes and it was a good match. Usos winning this match would have been a better result. Randy Orton took the pinfall to earn the victory for his side.

Match 5 – Women’s Survivor Series elimination Tag Team match – Team RAW defeated Team Smackdown (sole survivor, Bianca Belair)
Carmella was eliminated first, she was pinned by Toni Storm with a roll up. The next elimination took quite a time, Toni Storm again it was who eliminated Zelina Vega. Liv Morgan eliminated Toni Storm after that. Sasha Banks eliminated Liv Morgan next. The whole Smackdown beat down Rhea Ripley after that and she was eliminated by Shayna Baszler. Sasha Banks got counted after that as Team Smackdown started fighting each other. Bianca, the lone woman from RAW eliminated Natalya, Shayna Baszler and Shotzi single handedly to win it for RAW.

Match 6 – WWE Universal Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns defeated WWE Champion Big E
The match became more predictable after the previous results. Roman Reigns had to win this match and Roman won. And there is nothing wrong in it. The match was good but it was quite slow. There were better matches throughout the night than this one. Roman Reigns defeated Big E with a spear. Roman Reigns stood tall with the Universal Heavyweight Championship as this week’s Survivor Series went off air.
Overall, it was a good show. Most of the matches were fun, however, there were some questionable bookings. Becky vs. Charlotte was a great match but it met a terrible ending. Jeff Hardy’s run was really fun. Rhea Ripley and Toni Storm needed a longer run. We give the show 3 stars out of 5.
