Reports have already been out about WWE hiring Edge and Daniel Bryan for creative roles in the company. Apart from their roles as on-screen talents, they’ve given the jobs of writing shows, as well. The Rated R Superstar was assigned to the red brand while Bryan got his spot on SmackDown. The two have been working on these roles but the feedbacks aren’t the same for these two.

Ringside News previously reported that Daniel Bryan has to receive some glowing reviews for his dedication towards the job. But the same cannot be quoted for Edge. Bryan is going above and beyond to learn how the backstage process in WWE works out as they produce their television shows. He spends time with the headsets while taking advice from Vince McMahon and learning everything he can.

He is also picking up some knowledge on things of the Gorilla Position to speak with talent and give them advice.

Ringside News has now reported that Edge is not putting forth the same efforts which Daniel Bryan has been showing for the creative team. The source was told that he hasn’t shown that much dedication he needed. Also, he perhaps isn’t that much keen on learning behind the scenes antics in WWE.

A tenured member of the creative team has told Ringside News that “talent he’s spoken with doesn’t improve based on his advice.” It was also noted by the respective sources that “Edge doesn’t want to do it” hinting that he has no intentions to continue this job.

The source also informed that Edge has lately expressed his frustration about how late these creative meetings start at times in WWE. He doesn’t like waiting for Vince McMahon but that’s considered to be part of the job when someone is on that post. A couple of months ago he was seen complaining about the time he had to wait before meetings began.

This new information of Edge being impatient is just an additional piece of information that he’s not very much comfortable with WWE’s way of working. The former world champion was backstage at Survivor Series 2020, but he wasn’t used on TV. As of this writing, he is still out of action with a triceps injury and there’s no confirmed update on his return.
