Triple H and Stephanie McMahon have been named to Sports Business Journal’s 2020 list of Most Influential Executives. The two had respectively been positioned as WWE’s Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development and Chief Brand Officer. In recent times, the latter’s duties have just grown bigger in the marketing team of the company.

SBJ came up with a different take on their 17th annual list of the Most Influential names in sports business keeping in mind how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the sports business all around the world. The list included 79 names who made an impact in this genre throughout the year 2020, from league commissioners and media executives to union leaders and impactful athletes.
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were the only names from the professional wrestling league to make it to the list. So, it’s a huge achievement indeed. More on this is now available on the issue which is available for purchase.

While other sporting events had to come to a halt when the pandemic began, earlier this year, WWE never stopped producing content. All the episodes of Raw, Smackdown, NXT, and PPVs were airing on their respective broadcasting channels. Later, the concept of ThunderDome was introduced from the Amway Center in which Triple H and Stephanie McMahon played a big role. A big congratulation to the power couple for this achievement.
