They actually had a couple of matches in WCW but after Austin became the best in the business, they fought one on one only once in WWE. This dream match did take place on Raw in 2002.
Ric Flair screwed Austin in a no 1 contender’s match against Undertaker and turned heel. Austin sought for revenge on Flair and he defeated Ric Flair one on one and it was a great contest.
