Night 2 of WrestleMania 37 has been better than Night 1 without any doubt. They kept most of the better matches for the second night and most of them were really good. We got a great main event to close the show as well as some shocking moments throughout the night as well. Now let us talk about all the matches and their results;
Match 1 – Randy Orton defeated The Fiend

The match was booked for only six minutes. It was going well. But it ended too quickly. The fiend was dominating the match and suddenly Alexa Bliss distracted Fiend with a scary look and Orton capitalized with an RKO. He pinned Fiend to get the victory. Hopefully, this is the end of this feud, and Alexa Bliss and Fiend are now foes.
Match 2 – Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler Defeated Natalya and Tamina at WrestleMania 37 To Retain WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
The match was surprisingly, very good. It was actually a WrestleMania-worthy performance. This is undoubtedly one of the better matches of the event. It was given 15 minutes of booking and the ladies did a great job to utilize the whole time. Shayna Baszler picked up the victory for her side over Natalya by submission.
Match 3 – Kevin Owens defeated Sami Zayn
The match was good for eleven minutes of booking as both performers were pretty good. Kevin Owens was booked like Stone Cold Steve Austin in some aspects. Owens pinned Zayn with a Stunner. The only thing we did not understand, what was the point of including Logan Paul in this match? Was he just kept to get a Stunner from KO?
Match 4 – Sheamus defeated WWE United States Champion Riddle to become the new champion
The match got over ten minutes’ bookings and it was good. Nothing too damn special but it was good. Both performers did a good job entertaining the fans as long as they performed. Not many high-flying maneuvers could be seen from the Riddle which might feel a little disappointing. Sheamus pinned Riddle with a Brogue Kick.
Match 5 – Apollo Crews Defeated Big E in a Nigerian Drum Fight to become new WWE Intercontinental Champion
The match was only booked for six minutes but in this small amount of time, these two individuals did a very good job. Dabba-Kato made his main roster debut in this match, he was previously seen in the Raw Underground. He helped Apollo to win the title as he knocked out Big E with a Chokeslam and Apollo pinned him for the victory.
Match 6 – Rhea Ripley Defeated Asuka To Become New WWE Raw Women’s Champion
This match was booked for fifteen minutes and it was mostly build to book Rhea Ripley as a very strong individual. Both ladies played an excellent part, however, we think it could be a better match. Rhea Ripley pinned Asuka with a Full Nelson Drop to pick up the victory and win the WWE Raw Women’s title.
Main Event – WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns defeated Edge and Daniel Bryan to Retain
What a match! Undoubtedly, it was the best option to be the main event of WrestleMania 37. From top to bottom the match has been extremely entertaining. This match will always be remembered as one of the best main events of WrestleMania history for sure. Roman Reigns pinned both Edge and Daniel Bryan at the same time to win the match and retain the title.
Overall, it was a hell of a night. It was not the best WrestleMania ever, but kudos to WWE to finally present a WrestleMania without any legendary names. The attempt itself was praiseworthy. Out of 5 stars, we would give it 3.5 stars, 1 star will be deducted for not booking some of the matches for a little longer, and the half star will be deducted for humiliating Bayley for no real purpose.
