This might have been one of the most unanticipated matches of WrestleMania XL. It is really difficult to believe how this match ended up at a stage like WrestleMania XL. Every year we get to see some matches like this. Such a match is more suitable for a random episode of Smackdown or RAW.
But there are some matters of excitement about this match. Bobby Lashley has a huge fan base so he finally got some bookings for the Grand Stage of them all. Last year, he was left out of it. He was supposed to face Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 39 but Wyatt was not medically cleared to compete.
WWE WrestleMania XL – The Pride (Bobby Lashley, Angelo Dawkins, and Montez Ford) vs. The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Akam, and Rezar)
This was the first WrestleMania of Karrion Kross’ career so this wass really a big stage for him to prove himself. There had been multiple predictions about this match but most of the fans want to believe that the heel side of The Final Testament might come out victorious. Kross is pretty young and he still could not do anything special in the main roster. So, he needs this push.
WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley was the special guest referee for this match. This match had been a Street Fight and it had been quite physical from the very first minute. The heel side was more dominant at the beginning but slowly, Bobby Lashley and his side got the control of this match.
Once Bobby Lashley and his side got the control of the match, Karrion Kross and his side had no chance at all. Despite they had been pretty dominant at the start of the match, they had no chance at all. Bobby Lashley looked really dominant in this match and he received a strong booking after a very long time.
Lashley pinned his rival Kross after putting him through the table to earn the victory for his side. The match was booked for around nine minutes and despite being a short match, it had been pretty entertaining. It was a good match overall. Bubba Ray Dudley and Snoop Dogg, who was in the commentary table also celebrated with the winners after the match at WrestleMania XL.
