The current one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Zelina Vega who is also the winner of the first ever WWE Queen’s Crown tournament recently expressed her desire to face Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 38 and called her a dream opponent for the grandest stage of them all.
Zelina Vega and Rhea Ripley had a number of matches before but they never had a consistent feud. Definitely it will be quite interesting to see these two athletes going one on one at the grandest stage of them all. But we would love to see inconsistent storyline between the duo before booking this match.
Zelina Vega Wants To Face Rhea Ripley At WrestleMania 38
All WrestleMania matches should follow good storylines. This is something that WWE used to follow previously. But nowadays they just book most of the WrestleMania matches without any proper reason. Some of the matches remain pretty good on paper, but they look quite lame without a proper storyline. We seriously hope WWE get out of this error soon.
But there is a very fat chance of a match between Zelina and Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 38. The duo can definitely have some matches before the event, but we do not see these two athletes going one on one at the grandest stage of them all.
Since Zelina is currently holding the women’s Tag Team Championship along with Carmella and they do not have any serious challengers either. Actually there is no women’s tag team in WWE right now who can challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Throughout last year WWE struggled to book the Women’s Tag Team Championship properly. Right now the condition of the titles are the worst. We believe WWE needs to book these titles properly before booking the champions in singles feuds.
Besides, Rhea Ripley is currently involved in A Feud with Nikki ASH which is likely to continue for over a month or so. And after the end of this feud, there is a huge chance of her having a feud with Becky Lynch. There is even a rumour of her winning the Women’s Royal Rumble match to go on to challenge Becky Lynch for the RAW Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 38.
Even if she wins the Royal Rumble match or not, she is currently the biggest possibility of heading towards WrestleMania 38 to challenge for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship. So there is a very fat chance of her going one on one with Zelina at WrestleMania 38.
Zelina Vega who is also the winner of the first ever WWE Queen’s Crown tournament recently spoke on Instagram with ProSieben MAXX where he expressed her desire to face Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 38 and called her a dream opponent for the grandest stage of them all. She said;
“I think Rhea Ripley [would be my dream opponent for WrestleMania 38]. Rhea Ripley, and I say that because, I mean in my dream scenario, I’m the queen and a tag champion and the Raw Women’s Champion and I’m defending all of that against Rhea and I win. That’s of course what I want to happen.
“But, if it really was a scenario where I get to pick a dream opponent for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship or the SmackDown Women’s Championship, it would be against Rhea Ripley for sure because I feel that her and I have a chemistry like — I’ve only felt that kind of chemistry with Asuka, so to feel that with Rhea is really great and I feel that her and I have just scratched the surface of what we could actually do. So I feel that Rhea and I would have just a complete banger. That would just be the coolest thing.”
