Ravichandran Ashwin transferred to Jolly Rovers club 1

Indian Off-spinner, R. Ashwin who is the biggest cricketing star in Tamil Nadu has been bought by Jolly Rovers Club for the upcoming TNCA premier League, according to The Hindu.  A Few days back Ashwin was seen practising with the Jolly Rovers club and now the team has decided to acquire his services. Ashwin was earlier part of the Vijay Cricket Club but now he will play for the Jolly Rovers. Though Ashwin may miss out on few matches due to the West Indies tour but surely he will make his presence felt in the matches he will participate.

Ashwin is not the lone international player to be roped in by a team in this league as earlier the Swaraj Cricket club have signed Hardik Pandya who has played many T20I’s for the Indian team. The team has also signed his brother Krunal Pandya for the upcoming league and both the brothers are set to leave an impression in the southern part of the country. Earlier the Alwarpret Cricket Club has signed the Indian all-rounder Gurkeerat Singh Mann who went to Australia with the team.

The league is loaded with a number of domestic players as many domestic players are a part of one or the other team.

Starting from Jolly Rovers club itself, the team has signed M. Shahrukh Khan who is the member of Tamil Nadu Ranji Trophy team. The UFCC (T. Nagar) has bought Chirag Jani of Saurashtra and Ian Dev Singh of Jammu and Kashmir. Ian Dev Singh was also the part of Rest of India team in the Irani Cup played this year.

The Young Star Cricket Club has hired Jalaj Saxena and Ganesh Satish. Saxena is a part of Madhya Pradesh Ranji team and has also played for India A. He was quite successful in this year’s Ranji Trophy as the all-rounder scored 588 runs and also scalped 49 wickets.

Each and every team is allowed to play with two players from other states.
