Liverpool have made a great start to their new season under the German tactician Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds have now managed 3 back to back victories and have picked up the 4th place in the points table with 13 points from their first 6 games of the season.
The manager made a number of additions to his squad in the off-season and has made the squad a lot stronger than it was in the previous season and he has already reaped benefits of it this season.
Croatian international Dejan Lovren has not been able to keep himself available for selection on a regular basis early this season.
He missed a game earlier this season with a concussion to his eye but was back for the next game, also finding himself on the score sheet on the trip to the Stamford Bridge.
However, he was once again out of contention for the game against Hull City at the weekend and was replaced by Ragnar Klavan, who put in a superb performance at the back.
It was later revealed that Lovren picked up a virus and was too ill to even make the bench on the night.
Liverpool did not miss his services as the former Augsburg man was superb for most of the game at Anfield but Klopp will want a settled center back pairing that can stay strong even against top class opponents and will hope that summer purchase Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren can start as many games as possible together.
So in what will come as great news for the fans and the manager, Dejan Lovren is now cleared for the game against Swansea and is expected to start the clash in Wales.
The former Southampton man did not have the greatest starts to his Liverpool career, but he has slowly grown into his role at the club and has transformed into a better player under the new manager.
He has all the makings of a top class center half and though he has had his nervy moments in the past, he has made a dazzling start to career under Klopp. He has been consistent at the start of this season and will be hoping to cement a place in the side without missing games through injury.
So it will be interesting to see what Jurgen Klopp decides for this game.
He has a fit Klavan who did extremely well against Hull but Lovren is his first choice and is back full fit for this game.
The international break will give some much-needed rest to the players but Klopp has a big decision to make in the last game before the break.
Do you think Lovren should start ahead of Klavan for the trip to the Liberty stadium?
