WWE Smackdown will officially have a gigantic name added to the women’s roster starting from next week onward. After being away from WWE’s TV perspective, Jade Cargill will be back on the scene as a part of the blue brand show.
During the latest episode of the Friday night show, it was revealed that Jade Cargill has joined the WWE SmackDown roster. This announcement came via a video package that confirmed that Cargill will make her first appearance as a roster member on the March 29 episode.

“Let’s make things clear, I didn’t come here to be the next anyone. Jade Cargill is a once-in-a-lifetime generational talent. The type of presence that makes everyone sit up and stand up straight when I enter. I don’t even have to speak – and yet I’m the trending topic. I am the headline. They’re going to build statues of me – and you don’t have to like it, but you damn sure can’t deny it,” Cargill stated in her promo on WWE Smackdown.
Cargill made her WWE in-ring debut at the Royal Rumble premium live event in January she wasn’t assigned to any particular brand until last night. The former AEW TBS Champion made it to the final three of the women’s Royal Rumble match before elimination. In September of last year, she left AEW and thereby signed a multi-year contract with WWE.

Cargill’s arrival on WWE Smackdown makes sense as Xero News previously stated that a six-woman tag team match would take place at WrestleMania 40 where Jade will team up with Bianca Belair and Naomi to take on Damage CTRL’s Dakota Kai and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane).
