It was last week when Charlotte Flair demanded a better competition for Summerslam 2019 which fuelled up the speculation of a return of Trish Stratus. Since WWE announced it, we are almost sure that tonight will mark the announcement of a must-happen match in the WWE. At Summerslam, two of the absolute bests of their respective generations will collide to determine who is the greatest of all-time.
Last week, we have officially received one of the main events of Summerslam 2019 that takes place over the WWE Championship. Randy Orton will take on Kofi Kingston in a match that is the continuation of a rivalry for over 10 years. These two will meet once again this week for another heated confrontation. After Kofi stood tall last week, it’s maybe time for The Viper to strike back on this week’s Smackdown.

Finn Balor will be back in action after missing this past weekend’s Smackville event. An injury scare broke out around him which must go away after WWE announced that he will wrestle tonight. None other than the annoying heel, Dolph Ziggler will be his opponent. We hope Balor will pick up the win tonight to pick up momentums for his scheduled Summerslam match against Bray Wyatt.
In another scheduled match for Smackdown, the New Day members Big E and Xavier Woods will collide against Elias and Drew McIntyre. It must be a chaotic environment since Shane McMahon should preside things over that would bring Kevin Owens to the scene. The ongoing heated rivalry must be affecting the outcome of this match. We expect the babyfaces to stand tall as Owens would be hell-bent to keep the momentums on his side continuing McMahon to teach a lesson.

Another tag team match will be there on Smackdown Live from the women’s division. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville will compete against The IIconics in a non-title match as Shane McMahon informed them last week. If they got to pick up the win then a title shot will be waiting for them. We assume it will be an easy win for Rose and Deville so to earn a title match around Summerslam.
