Both the Australian top-order batsmen and Aussie bowlers have dominated in this series. The opening batsman David Warner scored 100 not out and 60 not out in the first two matches of this series. Due to his outstanding batting performances, Warner won Player of the Match awards in both the matches of this series.

While the captain and opener Aaron Finch scored 64 runs in the first game, Steven Smith played the knock of unbeaten 53 runs in the second game.

Australia will miss Glenn Maxwell as he has taken an indefinite break from cricket to deal with a mental health issue. In the first T20I, Maxwell scored 62 runs off 28 balls. Ahead of the third T20I, D’Arcy Short has replaced Maxwell in the T20I squad.

Meanwhile, the left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc has returned to the national squad. He missed the Brisbane T20I due to attending his younger brother, Brandon Starc’s marriage.

The Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa was the best bowler in both the matches of this series. While he took three wickets in Adelaide T20I, he picked up two wickets in the Brisbane T20I.

The hosts are now getting ready to finish this T20I series in a style.

The inexperienced Sri Lankan side has failed to perform competitively in this series. While their bowlers have failed to pick up wickets, the batsmen have even struggled to reach at least the 20-run mark.

Lasith Malinga-led Sri Lanka have lost eight matches out of their last nine T20Is. So, the 36-year-old is under pressure to save his T20I captaincy.

The Sri Lankan players need to improve their skills very quickly to survive from the whitewash.

Where to watch:

In India, Sony Six network will broadcast it live on Friday (1st November) from 01:40 PM (13:40).
