WWE Universal Championship will be defended at Hell In A Cell PPV event but before that, the title will also be on the line over on SmackDown. Next week, WWE celebrates the second premiere episode of the show on FOX and we’re likely to receive a stacked show. The potential main event of the night was declared where the number one Draft pick of the blue brand will be seen in action.

For the first time since his return at SummerSlam, earlier this year, Roman Reigns will be seen in a singles contest on SmackDown. He will defend the title against Braun Strowman. It should be noted that Reigns won the belt pinning Strowman during the Triple Threat Title Match also featuring The Fiend Bray Wyatt at Payback 2020 pay-per-view event back in August.

If Reigns successfully retains his belt on SmackDown then the first-ever “I Quit” match inside the Hell In a Cell structure will wait for him at the upcoming WWE Hell In a Cell pay-per-view.

The champion himself announced during last night’s SmackDown on FOX episode that his Cell match with Jey Uso will now have an “I Quit” stipulation. The only way to win the match is to make your opponent utter the two words, ‘I Quit.’

SmackDown, next week will also feature The New Day’s farewell match as a team as Big E teams with new SmackDown Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods to face Sheamus and the former champions, Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura. The WWE Draft 2020 edition Night I saw RAW picking Kofi and Woods while E was retained on the blue brand splitting up the group.
