The 39-year-old Dhoni played his 200th IPL match during the 37th match of this tournament where he led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to face Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium (Abu Dhabi) on 19th October 2020. While Dhoni-led CSK failed to qualify for the playoffs of this tournament, the most-capped IPL player Dhoni has appeared in 204 IPL matches.
