WWE Raw Preview (03/05/21): Tag Team Title Match
WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Omos and AJ Styles have been kept off TV since their title win on WrestleMania 37 Night Two by defeating The New Day – Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. The champions made an appearance on WWE The Bump on YouTube, this past Wednesday to reveal that they have been partying in Nigeria to point out the kayfabe reason for this hiatus.
In reality, reports suggested that at least one of them was injured following WrestleMania 37 which is why WWE had to remove them from TV. As stated on Bump appearance, the tag champs will finally make their first TV appearances since defeating The New Day at WrestleMania 37. Additionally, the two teams are also scheduled to get involved in the rematch over the title, per WWE’s latest confirmation.
In another announcement, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler will defend the titles against Lana and Naomi, tonight. A couple of weeks ago on WWE Raw, Naomi pinned Baszler in a multi-person tag team match to earn this opportunity. Could a title change be happening?
