Official builds for Hell In A Cell PPV are yet to commence on WWE Raw as we receive the second episode following WrestleMania Backlash. A segment featuring the fallout of last week’s Open Challenge will be there along with a fresh match on the card. Women’s Tag Team Championships will also be on the line when the show airs from the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.
Despite his massive win at WrestleMania Backlash in a Triple Threat, WWE Champion Bobby Lashley decided to make WWE Raw appearance rather than heading into a vacation. He was also happy about issuing an Open Challenge to the locker room which was accepted right away by Drew McIntyre. But the challenge excluded McIntyre and Strowman.
Major Update On John Cena Returning To WWE In 2021 Summer
By the end of the night, Bobby Lashley found out that Kofi Kingston was going to be his opponent and he backed down from putting the WWE Title on the line. The end of the match witnessed Kofi eventually pinning Lashley in a major upset. It came after McIntyre came out and distracted Lashley by taking the cane out of MVP’s hands.
There will be fallouts from this Open Challenge on WWE Raw as seen on the promotional video for this week. It seems like Kofi Kingston is in the line to receive a WWE Title match opportunity after his pinfall win, last week. At the same time, McIntyre won’t be out of the title picture who is also slated to face Lashley in a singles contest, perhaps inside Hell In A Cell structure.

WWE Raw Preview (24/05/21): Riddle vs Xavier Woods

A fresh match has been announced for this week’s WWE Raw as Riddle is set to face Xavier Woods in a singles contest. On last week’s show, Kofi Kingston not only pinned Bobby Lashley but also earned another pinfall win over Randy Orton, thanks to a distraction from Woods at ringside.
After the match, Orton’s tag partner, Riddle, didn’t appreciate Woods’ tactics and shoved him to the mat. This is the reason why this first-ever match will go down between the two. Orton should be standing in the corner of Riddle for the match as the duo is acting as a team. They previously worked together in an eight-man tag match victory but tensions are rising between the two teams, since then.
WWE Raw will also witness WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Natalya and Tamina Snuka defending their titles against the former champions, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax. This one is going to be the second rematch for Baszler and Jax within a week.
Last week, Natalya and Snuka retained their titles after an explosion created by Alexa Bliss and Lilly from the stage. The explosion knocked Reginald to the floor and the distraction allowed the champions to retain.

Jax and Baszler dropped the titles to Natalya and Tamina during the Throwback SmackDown episode. The second rematch for WWE Raw was announced during this past SmackDown episode, which saw Jax, Baszler, and Bayley defeat Natalya, Snuka, and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. Baszler made Natalya submit to her Kirifuda Clutch for the finish to earn this consecutive rematch.
WWE Raw Women’s Championship pictures will continue to revolve around Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and Asuka. Flair was looking forward to having a one-on-one title match opportunity but last week, Asuka pinned her during the post WrestleMania Backlash show. Could this set up the Empress Of Tomorrow a rematch against Ripley? We’ll find out when WWE’s flagship show airs with the latest episode from ThunderDome.
